Beks4427 November 4th, 2022

Ok so here's the deal. I struggle with anxiety and depression. I also new work two jobs. I don't get a lot of free time but when I do have time I usually have to go grocery shopping or help with family things. I don't know how to maintain a clean house. My dirty house makes my anxiety worse but my depression keeps me from so cleaning it properly. I know I need help managing it but I don't know how to do that. So please..... any tips as to help work through this are welcome.

Hello!

I have the same issue of keeping my surroundings neat/orderly. It seems even after I go out of my way to really clean my room/car/kitchen/etc it just goes back to being a mess again regardless. I think the solution for at least keeping things orderly is to put stuff back as soon as you're not using it. I notoriously leave things out thinking I will get back to them, only to end up surrounded by a clutter of things I meant to get back to. I guess that's how clutter starts.

In my house we try to make a point to clean every dish we make as soon as we are done with it. It's not easy to stay consistent with it but it does stop the dishes from piling up. I'm trying to apply the same logic to other chores in my house.
