Chats can be a hit or miss, depending on the time you log in. 
For example since I live in Italy and most of the users (from what I have the impression of) seem to be from other timezones, I find it quite hard to match my "perfect time" with everyone else's "perfect time". 

I am sorry you are feeling alone.
