I'm not sure I'd say they're forgotten, especially since new ones are being made or have been made in recent years. I would say you do earn some "aura points" as you call them, especially if you're remembering the original Tom & Jerry shorts. I absolutely love those older cartoons! One of my favorite Tom & Jerry shorts is "The Cat Concerto."
