When you are ready to heal - emotional development exercises can help.
After growing up and becoming an adult with CSA during chilhood is a tough enough event. So, you remembered (or not), came to terms with the abuse (or not) and now you are ready to move on and heal. The question is: "How do I learn to communicate healthily and have healthy attachments, after having learned the opposite?" The answer is available. Excersises. Yes, talking, thinking, talking again. Processing. Allowing the new axons and dendrites to develop and grow. Learning the new pathways. The new ways of dealing with the same situations.
Here is a list of self-help exercises to help develop emotional skills for better communication and relationships:
Resilience https://positivepsychology.com/resilience-activities-exercises/
Assertiveness https://positivepsychology.com/assertiveness/
Boundaries https://positivepsychology.com/great-self-care-setting-healthy-boundaries/
These are just some examples from the plethora of online exercises. Sometimes just talking about assertiveness, resilience and boundaries can be helpful on the journey to healing.
