What is the difference between abuse and molestation? I was in therapy and in one of my journals admitted to being "hurt". Because I don't know what to call it.

I'm not 100% sure but I always interpreted "abuse" as something being physical and/or mental and can happen in any age.
While "molestation" is with children and is a physical abuse (sexually speaking)
