Struggling

ShelbyJohnson April 1st, 2022

I’m having a really rough day of memories and trying to stay in the now. I’m really feeling really low.

That is a sign your batteries are needing recharging. A bubble bath, good book or new candle (or all of the above!) could be in order. If it’s something very serious and prolonged for about two weeks, a professional may be needed.

Breathing exercises, time with a pet or in nature, some gentle stretches and movement could also work. There are so many things one could do! Without knowing more it’s hard to recommend something so I’m just giving ideas.

If one is an extrovert, calling someone whether it’s a friend or helping and chatting with them, or browsing shops and talking with the clerks could work.

If one is an introvert or ambivert, things from the former and even the latter paragraph could work.

Ultimately it will feel like a slog at first as your batteries are drained; once you get going, within five minutes you’ll begin to notice a difference and within twenty you’ll be rolling along pretty well. Utilize a professional if needed. Just keep at it and soon you’ll be okay.
