Only you can decide as you know your situation .... in my opinion staying for kids is a mistake ...depending on age of children they see the issues it is imprinting on them.
my now grown kids saw dysfunction in my relationship and they have always wanted me to leave ....... it can affect their relationships later .....learning to be passive when someone treats them poorly.
if it is a financial thing it takes planning and changes to be ready to make that change..... but most can do it ... helps if you have friends or family that can help. Explore your options talk to programs for single moms and create a good budget..... if possible save up a fund my grandmother always called hers "mad money" that she could go if she wanted.
