Your worst injury
During the summer of 7th grade, I was playing softball on my travel team and a girl stepped on my wrist and it broke. I was out for 2 months. First week back, I ran into our thirdbase man for a pop fly and I fell backwards and couldn't move. Umpires thought I was paralyzed. I was taken out on an ambulance and suffered a concussion and broke my wrist and arm in 3 different places, I then got surgery on my arm and wrist.
@Lmizl - WOW! That's quite an injury to heal from. I hope that you're doing well now!
So at the beginning of the year I was in a car accident that should've killed me. Instead I was conscience the whole time and walked out of the hospital 12 hours later. Since then I have been dealing with PTSD. Which makes driving a consistent anxiety and I have to take antidepressants everyday. Add to that I did some damage to my knee and the doctors don't know what's wrong, but there's pain everyday. Which just is an everyday reminder of my accident.
@affectionateWillow9660 Im so sorry to hear that you have been through this. It must be extremely difficult for you to deal with how its impacting on you now. Have you been able to talk to someone about how your feeling and the anxiety that you feel as a result of the accident? How have you been able to manage how you feel since this happened?
