Can Anyone Relate to my Reaction to Overwhelming Workload ?

Slept at dawn and woke up a couple of hours later. Checked my planner and realised there's still a lot of work and effort to put in & things to do ~ a discussion to attend to; an assignment to work on (deadlines are next week); articles to read; a long email to write to my prof

Felt overwhelmed as I want to be able to Everything Perfectly (so that I'm not judged inadequate etc.) Instead, I couldn't get out of my bed and slept the whole damn day till dusk :(

I'm feeling so guilty now, regretting my sleep and hoping to work through the night but that screws up my cycle (but what the heck?) And in the end, I end up Hating Myself and Then Waste an hour or so getting out of this emotional mess ....

Oh Gosh!

Heya :) I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in feeling this way.

But I would like to encourage you to not Give Up with school, strive for better grades and not resort to hoping to do well in career and life just based on a few successful people sensationalised in the media. As much as high school, college and university is an academic battle, it is sadly very much valued to the eyes of people who are at a higher standing to offer jobs or even work with us for startups.

So Please Don't Give Up Just Yet :)

I'm not saying that Education is Everything but it plays a significant role in our future in today's world. You don't have to get straight As though... just do your best and work towards your values :)

All the very best :)
