Will EMDR help with hand tremors?

A traumatic experience happened when I was 8 years old. I was falsely accused of stealing pets from a neighbor. I would go there just to see the pets because I love pets, not to steal them. Despite having no intention of stealing, they accused me of trying to take the pets, even though I went there when they were present. They started calling me a 'thief' for about a year. I was terrified, didn’t say anything in my defense, and never told my parents about it. I am experiencing hand tremors during stressful times. Do you think EMDR will help me? My therapist doesn’t know much about EMDR
