Is Maladaptive Daydreaming a Dissociative Disorder?

Does anyone have an opinion on maladaptive daydreaming and whether or not it falls under the category of dissociative disorders? I know it hasn't made its way into the DSM as of yet. Does anyone here experience this condition?
