Going through a police investigation is rough
I recently got interviewed by an organization who helps kids who have suffered abuse. The interview was for the investigation against my abuser. I went into a nice room and there was cameras on all the walls, and there was a really sweet dog to pet, and I had to spill my guts about two full years of abuse. It felt awful and scary and I don't know how I did it. I went nonverbal for about two days afterwards. It was very rough and I am still scared of my abuser. But I hope this is a good step forward.

Thanks for sharing !
It takes a lot of courage to denounce formally your abuser and go through all the legal procedures.
I am very sorry for all you went through. It must be tought. A very unfriendly environment and experience
I am proud of what you did. Many people don't do it, and so indirectly encourage abuse, because abusers don't suffer any consequences.
I hope you get better soon.
