How are you feeling today? :)

How has this week been for you? Do you have anything you would like to share about it? :)

I tend to forget about praciticing self-care. Just telling myself that I have too many things to do, I do not have the time for it or I am just to tired but, really, self-care does not have to be anything big or anything special.

I mean, there are so many small things that just help me feel calmer or safer just for the moment. Things that help me to recharge a little bit or just find my ground a bit.

Self-care is not necessarily a big thing, self-care can really be just a bunch of small things you do just for yourself throughout a busy and/or tough day. :)

What is one small thing you could do for self-care? Do you have any small things like this that help you like this? :)

I mean, you do not have to share it here if you are not feeling comfortable but I would like to challenge you to take 15 minutes for yourself today and practice some small self-care activities like this. Of course, if you would like to share it I am always happy to hear from you as well :)​​​​​​

As always, there is no pressure on you to answer any of the above questions. It is perfectly fine if you would just like to say hi or just sit around with us for a few minutes. We are always glad to have you here with us no matter what! :)

Hello..

Thanks for the hug.. :)

I do forget to take care of myself at times and i tend to other people's problems then forget mine. It happens.

For self care at times: i keep my phone far away from me and just lay down and sleep. Sleep is very important to me on weekends because of the load of work i do during weekdays. Though i still get busy most weekends as well but for Today, i decided to give myself a little treat by resting. i slept past my usual time, still laid in bed when i got up ,made breakfast and after that, i just relax for more sleep and ate some more as well. will return all the missed call later and take a nice walk, come back and rest again.

It is very important that we find time out of our busy schedules to rest. It calms the mind and improves sanity.

Its helped me alot as well. smiley

I am having a really hard time taking good care of myself as well but really, the important thing is to try your best when it comes to self-care and nothing else. :)

Sleeping is really important for sure. I am really glad to hear that you are making sure that you are still getting enough sleep even that busy schedule of yours. It also sounds really nice that you just treat youself like that for today and just allow yourself to sleep in and just enjoy today for what it is. Also, going for a walk later on does sound really nice as well, it is always really good to just go out to the fresh air a little bit. :)

It is definitely really important to find time for self-care, especially with busy schedules I feel like, for sure. :)

@Daishy *hugs back* thank you so much for sharing and your kind words. It is nice to know someone is doing the same as me today to aim at that type of self care. Work can really be taxing on my body at times but moreso my mind. I am always on edge and I am not a very aggressive person so I tend to deal woth a lot very quietly which mentally taxes me. So resting has been my goal for the day... without guilt. There is a lot of things i put off during the week because im just too tired by the time i get home. I think i might try going for a walk at somepoint too, i haven't done thay for a while. *safe hugs*
