I don’t want to live a life my parents lived.
I don’t want to live a life my parents lived.
My clients often tell me this. They share :-
🚩 I’ve seen my parents sacrificing & suffering.
🚩 I don’t remember when did they enjoy last.
🚩 I’ve seen them struggling with money & health.
🚩 I’ve seen them being exhausted & feeling constantly hurt in their relationships.
Sadly, even if we don’t like what we saw while growing up, we still end up doing the same.
🔴 We end up having a similar life, a similar marriage, a similar way of thinking & living.
I believe that our generation can be THE CYCLE BREAKERS.
🟢 We can bring in new ways of living our lives.
🟢 We can take a quantum leap in our thinking.
🟢 We can embrace self-love & self-care.
🟢 We can heal our old wounds & release the past.
🟢 We can rewire our money & health beliefs
@yashggorani This post was quite insightful and I appreciate you taking the time to do this. I especially liked the part where you stated that we can break the cycle. This seems more easier said than done but is possible. I also admired the suggestions that you mentioned especially healing our old wounds and releasing the past. 💗
Thank you for sharing. ⭐

@yashggorani
Definitely we can. Break the cycle so our kids won't have to go through what we did.
What is a quantum Leap in our thinking?
@yashggorani
whats the response you are expecting?
Yes many feel or can at least relate somewhat to what you give a green or red flag to.
Without a question or indication as to flags purpose, why post this? Is it so you can just voice your opinions and thoughts alongside experiences in the field you claim to practice in?
please don’t get me wrong it’s just questionable when someone states the obvious (likely to cause unpleasant emotions) without actual purpose for doing so or sources of help with it. Especially when a MH professional.
if I survive a ban from posting this in response. Now we know these red and green flags , how do we go about effectively preventing ideally or worst case solving these flags that life presents us with others behaviour?
@yashggorani You do not have to.
Be your own person and do not try to be someone you're not.
