What Do You Learn From Animals?
Hi there,
It seems like many of you really love animals, me too! I wondered if we could share what animals teach you in life?
For me, they teach me how to be more patient and be grateful for the simple things in life... walking outside, the fresh air and the way they greet you after you've been away for a short time is just so uplifting! This is probably what I love most about my dog. They really do teach us to see the joy in the little things and to be grateful for one another. I'd love to hear your reflections!
@LisaMeighanMBPsS Our girl Taz is up in age. She's deaf and half blind but she still likes to go for walks - many many times a day lol. She helps me slow down and not worry if something does or doesn't get done right at that moment. What ever needs done will be there when I get to it
@mytwistedsoul
I find animals are much better than we are in dealing with aging. Nice that Taz shows you how to slow down.

@diplomaticPond9736 that is great. My parrot teaches me being slow to anger when they try to bite me.
@soulsings,
I need to learn that too :)
@diplomaticPond9736 yes but when they are in a good mood they say "Hey Buddy"
Then I get a good feeling about them.
@soulsings,
that’s cute :)
@diplomaticPond9736 yes it helps keep my mood on the up side.
My parrot kee0se on my toes
Animals love me for me (imperfections and all)
@placidAvocado2692 I agree animals have a way of accepting us just the way we are.

Something I learned from birds is that you can sing very very early in the morning and start the day joyfully 😊
@amiablePeace77
Beautiful :) That is so very true!
Molly, my puppy reminds me to have fun and be playful. By immersing myself into her world, I feel relaxed and free for the moment. It's great fun :)
@LisaMeighanMBPsS
So nice to see you back here again after your break Lisa!
I believe as adults we often forget to be playful. Good molly is there to remind you 😊
She keeps me smiling.

I have a few cats at home and I learned their sweetness is really contagious. Their happiness and living a simple life. They eat, sleep and play. It makes me feel that life is so beautiful. That problems are nothing at all. :)
@Jewelmoon17 that sounds like they add a lot of joy to your life!
@LisaMeighanMScGMBPsS
- They teach you to not overthink
- Listen to your body
- Follow your instincts
- Find games and happiness in small things
@DonaldDraper animals just act natural without putting on an act.
Thanks for sharing those.
