How Do You Express Yourself?

Throughout our lives, we express ourselves in many different ways. Sometimes we express ourselves emotionally, and other times we express ourselves through our hobbies. Expressing ourselves can be important because it helps us understand how we feel. However, sometimes it can scary to express ourselves, especially in front of other people.

  • What is your favorite mode of expression that you were once afraid to try?
  • What fear did you have to overcome and how did you do that?

For me, one mode of self expression that I’ve been afraid to try is dancing. I have been afraid to try it because I was worried about how I looked when I move my body. I felt like I looked stiff and it made me feel insecure. How we to get over this fear I tried focusing only on myself and I was able to dance freely.

@Desmynn6789 i like to practice Tai Chi and Yoga because both help my body to relax and allow me to live more naturally.

  • What is your favorite mode of expression that you were once afraid to try? I enjoyed painting but it was not supported at home so I gave it up.
  • What fear did you have to overcome and how did you do that? I learned that the most important things is that I like my "art" because it's only for me! 😊
