Hello there! Thank you for writing in the forums about this. Sounds like you're dealing with low self-confidence due of the dent in your head. Honestly, I'm not too familiar with it so I don't know if there is a cure for it. If there is, maybe receiving treatment for it could help you with your self-confidence. However, if there is no treatment available, or if treatment is not affordable or available in your area, the only way to overcome this is to simply accept that you have a dent in your head. This is definitely easier said than done, and it for sure won't happen overnight. And it will be difficult at first. But there are a number of things you can do to help you accept yourself despite having a dent in your head.

For example, realize that this "flaw" of yours doesn't define who you are as a person. Realize that there is more to you than this dent that you have in your head. Acknowledge all your strengths, gifts, and everything that you love about yourself.

Another thing you can do is understand that you are human and therefore will have flaws. These flaws don't necessarily make you a bad person. In fact, these flaws are what make us human, and therefore beautiful.

Thirdly, surround yourself with supportive and loving people who accept and love you for who you are.

Finally, do things that you love. Find a hobby, interest, passion to excel in. You would feel a lot more confident in yourself if, for example, you are an excellent soccer player or if you're a really talented musician.

These are merely just some suggestions that could help. It's up to you to decide whether these would help you, or if you think there are better ways to help you overcome this.

Hope this helps! I wish you all the best! :)

Hello to you!

How are you today?

Sorry to hear that this situation caused you to feel ugly, I understand that in a world that wants us all same shape and aspect in a stereotyped way, it's not easy to keep self confidence high.

I would hope you can look for social contexts where you can meet people that have a different mentality and won't judge you but would appreciate your company for who you are more than how you look.

At the end to be chose because supposed ''good looking'' (in a stereotype view of beauty) leads to superficial interactions surely empty in care, genuine affection and good bond.

To start looking at yourself as worth of the best human emotions (love, care, respect) could help you changing your view on yourself, start in little steps.

Feel free to come back to share for more or for updates on how things are going.

Take care 😊
