Inner Child

I Have read that working the inner child helps with self esteem. I think my social anxiety is connected to my childhood.

So working my inner child could help with anxiety?

@mary31 I find talking to and soothing my inner child can help it feel more secure and less anxious.

On the otherhand anxiety can be caused by other factors like diet, brain dysfunction, hormonal imbalances. I try to look at all the possible things and experiment. For example I was on high carb diet and anxiety was high. I changed to low carb medium-high protein and my anxiety was less. It is not the only reason for my anxiety but it is a contributing factor.
