The carehome puts up pretty blue lights around the outside of the home, and a light up tree by the gates😁 inside in the hallway there's a huge tree, and decorations hung around the walls 😁 I decorate my room up to😁 but only where I can reach ♿❤ favourite holiday food🤔🤔 turkkkeeyyy😁😁Christmas vacation, no thanks I'm happy where I am, what I want santa to bring me, wow! The list is way to long to share😂😂😂😂😂

Do you celebrate the holidays?
Yes I celebrate all holidays every year. However since I celebrate them differently from others by choice…….
What decorations do you do for Christmas or the holidays such as outside of your house?
None. I don’t celebrate Christmas with decorations. I understand everyone else does and that’s completely fine. But it doesn’t make it wrong to celebrate without decorations.
What is your favorite food that you like to eat?
Too many favorites to start naming them bc I won’t get to name them all 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you could go anywhere during Christmas vacation, where would you go?
The 90s but with the current knowledge I have now I can use that knowledge to try my best to make this society better and as a result the world better.
What is Christmas like in your hometown?
They have block parties so very festive.
What do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas or the holidays?
A peaceful society paired up with a peaceful world, a way for everyone I’ve met here to meet with me in person, a way to go back to the past for the same reason I gave to the “anywhere for vacation” question, enough confidence to say and do everything/anything I want or need to comfortably alone and around anyone, or simply nothing at all.

What decorations do you do for Christmas or the holidays such as outside of your house? The Xmas decorations are mostly seen in commercial venues and along shopping streets. The French do not generally make a show in or outside their homes where it could be seen by outsiders.
What is your favorite food that you like to eat? I go for a creamy-chocolatey "Xmas log" and will gladly take seconds
If you could go anywhere during Christmas vacation, where would you go? I prefer to stay home, unless there was an invitation from my family in Paris to celebrate there together.
What is Christmas like in your hometown? My "hometown" is actually Paris, so there are plenty of pics and videos out there to show what it is like! However, my second hometown being a small one, it stays generally quiet on Xmas. Before Xmas Day, we do have an attractive Xmas market, church bells ringing, and quite a lot of concerts.

If I am home and know of people who will be alone on that day, I will make invitations. Over the years, I've had plenty of that tradition. It's much better to bring people together. This year, I am looking at a couple of Indian young men, recent immigrants, who live close by. If they know of anyone else who could be alone that day, I'll ask them to invite them too. I just need a number before I order the food I'll need,

My favourite part of Xmas, however, was as a chorister and occasional harpist accompanist for the Midnight Mass. I made invitations for all the "church tourists" (all foreigners) to come and attend, since the whole thing was mostly a concert and readings. I would have them sit with my husband or a friendly parishioner who could explain along, open their hymnals, and so on.
This was while I was living in the NYC area or in Montreal (I am Episcopalian/Anglican). Those guests often said that they felt as if in a movie set and a lot of a hymns, to their surprise, were very familiar.
The next day at home, the kids and I switched the dining and living room furniture so the table was set between the (natural) Xmas tree and the fireplace and the vibe was complete.
I am one of those purists who only set up the tree the weekend before Xmas and leave it until January 6th, vacuuming the pine needles until July, however.

Thank you!! TWO Yule logs, in fact. We'll have a small celebration on the 24th at night and a bigger one on the 25th. Nothing like being together.
I don't have desserts too often, but when I do, it's rich and plentiful

What decorations do you do for Christmas or the holidays such as outside of your house? Outside just a few Christmas ornaments and ribbon, Christmas tree inside with Christmas curtains (something traditional here)
What is your favorite food that you like to eat? Baked sweet potatoes with Brussel sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli, big mixed salad and black bean burger
If you could go anywhere during Christmas vacation, where would you go? Into a spa in Thailand
What is Christmas like in your hometown? Traditional, meaning church in the morning, big lunch and big dinner
What do you want Santa to bring you for Christmas or the holidays? I don't really have wishes tbh. I wish a peaceful Christmas though for everyone in the world.
