I find beauty rest to be my favorite form of self care. How often do you make time for rest?

@HipsterChic I agree rest is important. If I do not sleep well I will take a nap in the afternoon.

I also enjoy winding down with a good book after a long day.

Whenever my body needs it. If I find myself starting to nod off in the middle of the day or in the evening, I'll squeeze in a quick nap or call it quits for the night 😴

Yes. I think power naps are something that are super helpful if you’d like to give those a try. A Power Nap are quick and can be for 6 minutes and you’ll feel refreshed and energized.

@HipsterChic Because my schedule is so inconsistent, I rest every chance I can where my body knows it needs to be powered down for a bit. I have to say though... I have never had a power nap and slept for 6 minutes. My naps are 30 mins to an hour to rest but it can take a bit before I actually fall asleep.

Yes sleep is a huge influence to everyone. So important to sleep to recharge and stay healthy

If I don't get proper rest I get really bent out of shape and grouchy and cranky

tend to get very emotional as well.💤💤💤💤💤💤💤😴

Aw. I get that. Plus I’m not a morning person. If I don’t get all of my rest I’ll be grouchy too.

Rest in general is very important to stay well. Every weekend I have some spa time at home with taking care of my skin, maybe a bath with coconut oil and either yoga, tai chi and a self massage.
