By the way I'm sorry that you feel like this, I hope you'll get better soon. 💚It doesn't matter how long ago it happened because the scar will always stay there on your heart until it's fully healed (that's means you don't care about him anymore once is healed.) I'm going through the same thing because exactly one month ago and one day I got told during our highschool trip that my crush just got a gf (even though it doesn't seem) and that destroyed me completely (although he seems to try to be my friend since his also my classmate, like we casually talk sometimes.)
I still got those strong feelings for him but I try to let him go with the time. If he wants to be my friend, that's fine, or even best friend, that's super fine, but to be his girlfriend no. Just no. Because even though I still like him, even though it's been one month ago and even though my feelings aren't that strong, it doesn't mean it didn't hurt me. It did, and it still does today. But I try to stay stong. I hope you'll feel better. As my bestie says : "There are other fishes in the sea" 💙
