Road to recovery
"The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are"
For me this is an important quote to remember. In my addiction I was stuck in a trap that I couldn't see out of. When I started my recovery, I didn't know what to expect. After living this way for so long, I had no idea what recovery would consist of or who I would be. The only thing I knew in that moment was that I could not stay where I was, I could not live this way anymore. And knowing that, is what allowed me to start on my road to recovery
