Building "No" strength

braveDay492 May 6th

Throughout my recovery journey, I have found saying no and keeping my sobriety is like building strength in muscles. High reps/heavy reps: constantly saying no is like high rep muscle building and saying no when it's hard and could be a convenient time to get high gave me the strength to say no and let go. It's weird, a constant battle of the flesh. Sobriety is better for me but my addiction pulls at my thoughts of being better for that fleeting moment of feeling high. I just keep saying no and each no is a little easier than the last. We can do it!!!

@braveDay492

This is a great approach and can work in most challenges ....  it does get stronger with each NO ... and one yes puts you right back at zero.
