6 months sober
I have good and bad days. I have several times a week I would love a bottle of tequila so I could zone out. I'm a stay-at-home mom and I'm constantly fighting with my younger kids and trying to deal with a Highschooler that’s flunking out of high school.
@skyraven02 I am so sorry about all you are going through. Being is mom is no easy job, but I believe in you. Our children have a way about them that makes us want to be and do better. You have these sweet children of yours that need you and rely on them. You got this, momma! Please stay strong and encouraged. Battling alcohol addiction is not easy, but you are 6 months sober and that is a huge accomplishment! Every single day that you decide not to drink is a day that is worth celebrating!!!
I am truly, incredibly proud of you! I am rooting for you and hoping things get easier for you. You are doing the best you can. I have no doubt that you are an amazing mother. Your efforts and you being 6 months sober is extraordinary. I am clapping for you! I hope your children see how strong and mighty you are to have gotten to this point! <3
