heyo!! I am currently falling behind in year 10 and I highly doubt I can handle year 11
heyo!!! uh I'm not actually sure this is the right forum for this but I'm not sure where else it would fit lol.
I'm 15, I'm currently falling behind in year 10 because I am mentally ill and can't keep up with the workload (specifically my attendance is under 60%, my GPA (8.##) is less than a whole point off from the minimum (7.5), I am also likely to fail the 2 subjects I need to move on to year 10 (PLP & English)) and year 11 is only going to be worse because it's my first SACE year so I won't be allowed to fail any of my classes or I would lose those SACE points which I kinda need to graduate (as far as I understand it at least). I'm going to be applying for an apprenticeship next year but I kinda need some advice for dealing with year 11 if that falls through!
uh literally any advice would be helpful cuz I have basically no idea what I'm gonna be going into!!

Hi Gorge😃👋, thank you for reaching out. It takes a lot of strength to share what you're going through, and I want you to know you’re not alone.💛
When I was in Grade 11 and 12, I took challenging college prep courses in science while working part-time. It was tough, and I totally understand how overwhelming it can feel with everything on your plate, especially when dealing with mental health struggles. What helped me was remembering that it’s all part of a journey of exploration. Each step I took, even the small ones, helped me discover what worked for me. Reaching out to teachers and counselors was a big part of that—they were supportive and helped me find solutions when I needed it. It's okay to take things one step at a time, and with each step, you'll learn something new about yourself and what you need.
Take care of yourself, and remember that it’s okay to ask for help along the way. You’re doing your best, and that’s enough. We’re all here for you as you navigate this journey. Sending you best wishes and hugs🤗💖
