I need help studying (GCSEs)

My gcse mocks are coming up in two weeks but i really struggle to study. I keep trying but every time i think about it i just get so overwhelmed by everything and i end up doing nothing. My parents keep telling me to revise but i just feel so useless. i want to work hard but i have no idea what to actually do. does anyone have any study methods they feel could work?

One study method that might help is breaking your studying into smaller, more manageable chunks. Instead of trying to study everything at once, focus on one subject or topic at a time. Set specific goals for each study session, like reviewing one chapter of a textbook or completing a set of practice questions. Another helpful strategy is to create a study schedule or timetable. This can help you stay organized and ensure you're dedicating enough time to each subject. Be realistic about how much time you can realistically spend studying each day, and try to stick to your schedule as best as you can.

Hi! I can understand it must have been tiring. Do not worry you will get through this!

I agree with CheeryMango, studying in chunks instead of consuming everything at once would be better. You can also use flashcards for revision, it helps not make the study repetitive and boring. Creating mind maps of your study topics can also help you retain better. Instead of quantity, we should focus on how to increase quality.

In the end please take care of your mental health as well as your physical health! Stay hydrated, have a good sleep cycle and eat nutritious food. Take care! Good luck! You got this :)
