My school has made a comprehensive schedule for elementary, middle and high schools in the district. I would say the way they've handled things is fair given the circumstances.

I would say that their response has been fair so far. We were having supplemental learning as of right now but since the quarantine order extended we

My school has been on break until now. We currently aren't doing any Zoom calls or any video learning, but teachers are posting assignments on Google Classroom with set times to finish. I like it myself because it works well with my type of learning and schedule. I'm not sure how to feel about upcoming tests though. :/

I go to college and they've been keeping us updated and so far the professors have adapted really well to online classes (better than I expected honestly) given the current circumstances.

i dont really know how to feel about schools resorting to online methods for teaching because i feel like im not able to understand the content taught as much as im able to do in live classes but on the flip side, online classes are so much more comfortable to participate in :)

@Clarisse29 A lot of schools allow you to message or email your teachers for clarification if needed. Be sure to ultize this if necessary.

I think that the government wasn't well prepared about this situation. They used to forced us to study and learn things and now they cannot. But what can we do if we have been tought by this way since we were little? I think they are asking too many things from us. It's like you order a dog to sit but have haven't explained what "sit" means

I think my school has responded well. All courses have been moved online and we are meeting online and professors are assigning assigments online. Although, at first it was hard to get used to it my school made a wise decision to close early.

Im very stressed about what my school system is doing, especially my 4th grade brothers elementary school. He is getting so much work and because we have to do this work at home, I have to teach him, I have to be the teacher and I'm already so loaded with my own work it stresses me out so much and when I tell you it's a lot, i mean a lot, I don't want him to fail but i'm not a teacher and i can't teach good, i can't explain things well no matter how hard I try. I'm a high school student so what i did in 4th grade is long forgotten. My parents work a lot and don't speak or read english so they can't help my brother much. I'm so stressed and don't know how to help my brother, he doesn't understand his work either because he hasn't learned it. I don't know what to do :(

@spacenerd2020 I'm sorry to hear about that. It sounds like a difficult situation. Is it feasible to get a tutor?

My school has handled the situation quite well, and I'm glad they made the decision of switching over to remote classes. However, the only stress that I'm having is that teachers are piling up more online assignments on top of what was alread assigned. Would be better if they'd ease up on the assignments/exams, since adjusting to the coronavirus and online classes is difficult enough already.

@imaginativePomegranate2421 I understand what you mean. I'm not sure why teachers are doing this, but it seems to be a common thing

They did the best they could given the circumstances yet I struggle tremendously.
