The Transformation Wheel: Questions to Get You Thinking

We've been talking a lot about the Transformation Wheel lately, and it's awesome to see so many of you excited to use this tool for personal growth! But we also know that taking that first step can sometimes feel overwhelming. Maybe you're feeling stuck, but not sure exactly what you're stuck on. That's totally normal!

To help you get started, I've put together some questions inspired by therapeutic approaches for you to ask yourself to guide your self-reflection:

General exploration:

  • "What's been on your mind lately?" This open-ended question allows for a broad range of responses and can uncover recurring themes or concerns.
  • "If you could change one thing about your life right now, what would it be?" This helps identify a potential focal point for the wheel.
  • "How are you feeling overall these days?" This encourages reflection on your emotional state, which can be a clue to underlying issues.
  • "What's been causing you the most stress or difficulty recently?" This directly addresses potential problem areas.
  • "Tell me about a situation that's been bothering you." This prompts sharing a specific example, which can be explored further.

Digging deeper:

  • When did you start feeling this way?
  • What do you think is contributing to this feeling/situation?
  • How is this affecting your daily life?
  • What have you already tried to address this?
  • What are your hopes for the future regarding this issue?

Remember this is a process of self-discovery, not a test. There are no wrong answers. Just be honest with yourself. Take some time to reflect on these questions. See what comes up for you. You might be surprised at what you discover.
