Suggestion: International Crisis Support Numbers

While a number of the members I have been supporting are American, many have been British (and I myself am British). The only number given in the "Click here for advice and crisis referral information." box is the suicide.org support number. While there is a link to a list of international numbers, I don't think this is sufficient. If someone is in crisis, every extra minute taken to find the right support to refer them too can be crucial. I would suggest adding "116 123". As well as being the number for the Samaritans in the UK and Ireland, it is a pan-european emotional support helpline number - whenever you call 116 123 in a European Union country your call will be redirected to the local service. This one extra number would allow listeners to quickly pass on the number for a support line for 27 more countries, rather than just the USA. What's more, it is free to call (by law) in all EU countries.

I agree that it would be a lot more helpful to have more numbers there.

From what I know, we are all working on a project called Resources. You can find more informations about it here:

http://www.7cups.com/forum/ListenersOnlyForums_38/QualityProjects_144/ProjectResources_27653/1/

People from the community can sign up to participate with resouces (from numbers to organizations & more) for their country or others.

@adamB93

Amazing suggestion, Adam, thank you so much for bringing it up! This deficit in resources was spotted a year or so ago, which is why @Pali and others spent a long while creating this amazing resource sheet, of international crisis lines (hotlines and chat).

And, as lovely @cristiana333 said, there is also the resources project, started by the incomparable @MissZ, which is building on the work of the resources sheet.
