Listener bias behavior on 7 cups
I have been utilizing the 7 Cups service for over two years, and during this time, I have noticed a trend in which chat requests from individuals with female names or profile pictures depicting them as females are typically responded to more quickly. Conversely, anonymous users and those without such indicators often experience longer wait times for a listener to engage with them. It appears that a significant portion of the listeners on this platform are male and tend to prioritize requests from individuals they perceive as female. I'm curious to know if you have ever encountered or observed this phenomenon as well. Please feel free to share your experiences and observations here.

I'm just wanting to make sure that I'm understanding correctly. Do you mean female member requests are picked up faster in the Chat Request queue than completely anonymous "genderless" member accounts? I haven't personally seen that with members but I can see it could definitely be happening
Many listeners here pick topics they are familiar and comfortable with. So it could also just be that they are choosing topics that are specific to that gender? I'm not really sure though because I don't believe I have seen what you have experienced
@beck1
Your perspective is also good and reasonable but i have checked it by creating different member account with anonymous gender and with a female picture or name ,,, the anonymous member account was rarely picked up and with the same issue i mentioned.... My female identity revealing request was getting picked up with a minute it means mostly listener here are looking for female member to listen them
@ChillCharm I understand that you may have wanted to investigate this further. But I do just want to let you know that it is against guidelines to be making multiple accounts like this. I encourage you to delete those other accounts that you made and just keep your original member account 😊
@ChillCharm
This is one possible scenario...another very real issue is that many of the female listeners get tired of members attempting to *** or have inappropriate conversations, so they may be more inclined to pick members that they think won't do that. I don't see it as bias from the listeners, more as an attempt to prevent harassment. There are times when I have had to go through 4 or 5 members to get to a person who really needs a listener. I even changed my profile because I don't want members to know I'm female.
@Heart4art
You are also right but i am talking about specific male listeners who are here just to listen female problem.,,, No matter what is there issue but they will prefer to pick up female request if they think she is a female by name , or by profile picture, or even by issues mentioned like women's health issue......
