Common Mobile App Problems

If anyone has any other app-related issues that they've been dealing with frequently, please post below! Here are mine:

1. If I scroll up on a group support chat to reread something and then close the app, if I open it again, the chat will be stuck in the place where I left off and will not automatically scroll to the latest messages.

2. When viewing listener profiles under "Browse Listeners", clicking "Show More" to read more of their profile works for the first few profiles, but then doesn't expand and I cannot read the rest of the information.

3. It's rare that I get notifications on time, I'd say they're generally at least 15 minutes behind (which is a bigger issue when I'm on my listener account). Notifications within 7 Cups don't always work either (i.e. the blue dot indicating a new 1-1 message), which has caused some problems in the past.

I know that the app is constantly being improved, and I'd like to thank the developers for making huge changes already. I just wanted to acknowledge what's been going on and bring it to the attention of people who may be able to help, instead of using "Ugh, sorry, I'm on mobile." as an excuse. Thank you! :D

@IndogoRoses thanks for the useful feedback.

we are aware of most of these issues and the good news is that we have a substantially improved update (v 2.5) coming very soon. We expect to publish the Android version within a day or so and the iOS version as soon as Apple reviews it.

(ironically, I tried to reply to this earlier from a test version of the Android app but hit a bug)

1. If I scroll up on a group support chat to reread something and then close the app, if I open it again, the chat will be stuck in the place where I left off and will not automatically scroll to the latest messages.

this is a tricky problem and we're literally working on it today.

2. When viewing listener profiles under "Browse Listeners", clicking "Show More" to read more of their profile works for the first few profiles, but then doesn't expand and I cannot read the rest of the information.

The upcoming app has a completely new Browse Listeners interface and much better treatment of profiles (imho)

3. It's rare that I get notifications on time, I'd say they're generally at least 15 minutes behind (which is a bigger issue when I'm on my listener account). Notifications within 7 Cups don't always work either (i.e. the blue dot indicating a new 1-1 message), which has caused some problems in the past.

We have had a number of challenges with notifications but I believe the upcoming version addresses most of them. I'm not sure why thy would lag by 15 minutes, though. I suspect it is something that is only updating when forced to refresh

Again, thanks for raising these issues and be sure to let us know your feedback once you the newer app version is available!

Hello there! With the newest update (version 4.0.2) I can't open my 7cups android app. Everytime I open the app, the 7cups icon is seen and then the screen just goes indigo and stays that way. My internet is extremely slow so I cannot chat using a standard browser either. I dont know if it's the speed of my internet that's causing this, but I've used the previous versions of the app with the same internet connection and it has worked fine. I understand developers are working hard to make the app better and thanks a lot. However I'd like to know if there's something I can do to make the app work again (I cannot wait till the next update), can somebody please help me?
