to my Dear Rylee;

lovelylavender222 May 16th, 2021

I don’t know what I’ll say to my little girl the day she asks about my scars. I dread this day. I think about it almost all of the time. Theres a million things I could say to her “Mommy was sad, mommy was hurting, mommy had a lot of anger..” truth is, Mommy was never taught how to love herself. so, how do you teach your little girl something that is so foreign yet so, so important? I’m not really sure, but I intend doing just that. I want her to have so much self love she doesn’t care about what other people think, she won’t need anyone throughout her life who doesn’t need her, she will never beg for love or to be loved. She will never feel the need to settle for less. * You are radiant * You have a beautiful soul * You’re so thoughtful * You are so strong willed * You are wise * You are worthy there are so many other things to say to help bring up powerful women other than just telling them they’re beautiful, even though they truly are. ❤️❤️

@lovelylavender222

you sound like a wonderful mum who loves her little girl. I hope she grows up to be strong, joyful, independent, and self-loving.

I can tell that your little girl is one lucky child to have such a wonderful and loving Mum. There's no doubt that she is going to grow up to be confident, strong, brave, and very much loved powerful women.
