Tracking forum replies

imaginativeDrum February 15th, 2015

Is there a place? There's the notification, usually a big number on the globe-y thing. But that's for ALL new posts. Not just your replies. Assuming that one automatically is subscribed to the whole board thread once one makes a post in one. Where do we go to see only our own replies/posts? Especially when keeping track of being answered?

It's a little confusing, the messaging or contact features here. Chat is near perfect with its erase, block and anonymous or guest features. Inline reminders in between chat. (Sometimes surprisingly within context). A way to 'subtle' inform the listener they are on the right track..

However, sounds are disabled by chat and notify. Even when there's a personal request towards you, as long as you've disabled the notification sound of "requests", you'll just have to depend on your own eyes.

Forums are all the more obscure. No listing by mention(@) makes sense. That's twitter and GTD-verse stuff still. Clicking dropdown items on globe redirects to page of post. Doesn't jump to the post/reply itself. (It did a few times. Hard to locate why or why not). No way to track exact, previous posts at all? D:

Fortunately, you do get a number thrown into your inbox when offline: "(x) messages waiting!" kinda thing. Thank the goodness. Lols.

Thanks fore reading! Now hopefully.. Have got this in the right place..

@imaginativeDrum

I agree that some more features, especially for the forum would be useful! You can submit ideas to the member suggestion box.
