Currently Participating List
Why doesn't the Currently Participating List, subtract people when they Leave the Chat Room? One would assume ppl use it to see who's CURRENTLY there (not those that hav left)

Well, it does. If you refresh the page or click out of the chatroom and then click into it again, the list will update. I don't know for sure but I would imagine trying to update a list would cause lag, especially if there was a high number of people in the room. Though I'm not an expert so take this with a pinch of salt.
I think it's a misnomer, because when you click on it it says "recent participants"... Recent, not current, and if it truly is showing recent then it actually makes way more sense. For all those times where people drop by, say hi, and leave, but no one ever responds to each other even though the number might say like, 5 people or something. It might take a certain number of minutes to clear someone from the list.

Bouncing off of what everyone else is saying, the Currently Participating list does update everytime someone leaves, but unfortunately, you have to refresh your screen in order to see these changes. And, because so many people are entering and leaving the chatrooms all the time, it sometimes doesn't update immediately. But I do promise you that it does update, you just have to take that extra step and refresh your page in order to see the reflected changes :)
