Blocking
If I block someone will they know? I have a listener that I need a break from for various reasons, but I don't want to offend or hurt their feelings.
There is usually a message that says you cant connect to this user if the ban person tries to connect to you via guest request reply.
Yes they will know it. As they won't be able to talk to you again. An error code will come code 205 when ever he or she will try to connect you.
Hi there, I'd be happy to chat with you about finding a way to tell the listener in a nice way that will spare their feelings. If you're in a situation where you feel like you have to chat with a listener, even if you don't want to, that's not fair to you. Listeners are here to help you and support you, it's not the other way around! If you feel like you have to protect the listener's feelings you may be in an unhealthy relationship with your listener.
Also, you're aware that this forum is open to everyone right? So it's possible that the listener will be able to see your post.
Does anybody know how to unblock? I think i spoke to a person i know in real life...and it creeped me out...I thought this person recognized me..so i blocked this person. I now want to unblock. Want to help everybody...doesnt matter if the person knows me and deliberately tried to talk to me.

They say that they will get back in 4 5 days and I really need to unblockthis user like now as it was uncalled for.please help!

Only the system administrators can action this request so there's little that anyone else can do unfortunately. But don't concern yourself too much as it may be attended to sooner than that.

i am a new listener. i'm trying ti help someone from general request, and when i clickt the username (not sure it was member or guest) it says i've been blocked.... does it mean they blocked me? i was a bit surprise and it bothers me a lot knowing i might hurt his/her feeling :(

What is the point of blocking and banning a guest or a member if they continue to login as guests (I can't believe it's actually allowed) and leave you harassing messages if I accept their personal request? I can't stop taking personal requests.....I listen to many people that way and I have no way of knowing if it's a troll. Am I really safe here? Please someone reply soon.

but I had to change my username and since I had applied everywhere I was interested I had to contact many people and let them know.....it was just ver hard I had to do so much because of one person....
My conversation with a member disappeared! Does he blocked me? He misunderstands me...is there any ways to contact him?

@comfortablePup73 When a member has blocked you, you should not be attempting to contact them. You should also not be sharing names of those you have 1-1 conversations with, as all of that should be confidential.
If someone accidentally blocks someone, they can email community@7cups.com to have the block removed. That is up to the person doing the blocking though.
