Hi. I don’t know if I am in the right place. I spoke to a great listener and the chat went well. They said I could contact them again. I tried about a week after our first chat. They said they would find time and get back to me and I said thanks. I woke up this morning and I have been blocked by them. No reason given and no explanation. I am very upset because I did nothing wrong. I wish they had just been honest with me and then gone. Whatever their reason was, no time, couldn’t support me etc. But telling me they wanted to be there for me then disappearing is very upsetting for me. There were safer options.
Hi there @warmheartedTurtle6662, I hear you on how upset you feel about this listener's unprofessional behavior towards you.
I agree, people can always choose to do better, but somehow sometimes they don't, and it creates so much confusion and distress for the others.
If the conversation was going well, and they even offered to do a follow up chat themselves, it doesn't make sense they'd just go ahead and block without sharing why.
Understandable to feel hurt and confused about it. :(

Sharing your feedback via relevant channels would help the team to process appropriate feedback for the listener and impart some coaching, in whatever areas of improvement they feel necessary, for two- professionalism and using the block tool correctly here. So they don't repeat the same with other members.
