@DelicateYuri970 I hope you check in with a health care professional. I know though some people react to benadryl that way. My husband took one while working out of town and he said it was very scary, he was wired but wasn't really able to do anything either. He just lay in bed sorta vibrating so any benadryl in the house is for me only! It was also a good reminder to us to try to use any medication for the first time when we're not alone.

I hope that's all that was going on with you too!

Update: Good news! I woke up this morning, very drowsy but I was fine. My heart rate wasn't quite as fast. Went to the doctor also, and doctor prescribed medicine, did say my heart rate was faster than normal, but I'm not in critical condition that I'll di e. 

Thank you all so so much for your prayers! I'm definitely feeling better now, as I am still fighting this cold, although I feel much better than I did, and hopefully will continue to get better. Thanks so much!

@DelicateYuri970 Taking that type of combination will cause a rapid heart rate in people. That combination is not okay to take and shouldn't have been suggestion by anyone but your healthcare provider.
