Stronger connection to God
Hi everyone
my life is pretty chaotic right now. I'm going through a difficult and incredibly painful break up and other things are in disarray too.
Throughout those hard times, I've been trying to get comfort and peace by praying and meditating. Sometimes it helps a bit but I feel like I don't really have a very strong connection to God. It feels.. lonely sometimes when I pray. Or most of the time actually.
I remember once (I was still with my partner) I prayed for God to put love into my heart and suddenly it worked, I felt like pure love and it was sooo good. This was during a fight with my partner and it helped us very much to resolve this fight.
Since this day I've never been able to recreate this kind of connection and I miss it so much. In this moment I felt like I'm truly protected and loved and there is nothing to worry about.That is what I would love to feel right now, since I'm always so sad and scared of the future. I also pray for my ex partner to feel this, as I'm sure he feels the same way right now.. and I can't comfort him.
I don't know, maybe you have some ideas?

Some times we may pray and ask for something and we get a sign ...or answer. It is an awesome feeling we cannot even explain clearly to others. Later when we are in another situation we may pray and ask expecting another blessing or clear sign and it does not happen. it feels lonely and like we are not as close as we felt in the moment when we had our answer.
You have had that moment and know it is possible. Many have not had that........ but one time in my life i did and that sustains me that it can happen. We may not get the answer we pray for or want every time but embrace the idea it did happen at least once for you.
