May I suggest a Bible community?
I know we are not to impose religion and rightfully so - God even gave us free will to choose or reject Him so we must not impose our own beliefs, religious or otherwise, on others.
I do recommend a community that focuses on this because 1) the Bible is edifying. it fills up one's love tank and that is always good for listeners and members alike. 2) it helps keep similar topics together. the Bible is so diverse and I believe it would be beneficial to make it easier for members to find different ways that it can help them. 3) it would be less imposing because people who will actually be going to the community because they want to and those who are not interested can simply not go there.
Thank you for considering this! :)
Hi @yssah 💜 It’s so nice to meet you ☺️
We do have a space on cups for religion and/or spirituality. You can find that subcommunity here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/religion/ 💜
I hope this helps!
Hi @LoveMyMoonflowers! Thanks for the link. I tried looking for an appropriate community but couldn't find this. Is it buried somewhere? How does one go about accessing it from the main community page? Haha sorry I have so many questions.
Oh and can we report sarcastic/unhelpful comments? Coz I think there's one on this thread, if im not mistaken.
@yssah
You’re so welcome 💜
I’m not sure what you mean by appropriate community but if you’d like to access the religion and spirituality community from the home page, you can click on the ‘peer groups’ category and then click on ‘religion and spirituality’ which is listed there.
No need to be sorry 💜 I’m glad you asked :)
If you see a post that is unsupportive or that doesn’t follow our community guidelines, you can report it by clicking the flag icon—right next to the heart icon. After that you’ll have to select a reason why you’re reporting it and then you’ll provide a few more details.
I really hope this helps 💜
@LoveMyMoonflowers oh I never thought to look into the peer group category. Thank you :)
@yssah
you’re welcome! :)
@yssah I like the idea. Having a community for pretty much anyone who needs one.
