30 yr friendship, now partner..confused!!

After 30 yrs of friendship, we chose to become a couple...i know him inside an out, vice versa. But here I am 4 months into it an he has issues an says I need to get help with my issues that's causing him to be unhappy. An literally only a month later he leaves, cause nothing has changed.
