pedophilia - It's not a fetish, says my doctor

I almost didn't create this thread...

I was a little surprised to see my previous thread on pedophilia moved into the 'fetish support' subforum. My understanding, as told my my doctor in the clinic that specializes in treating pedophiles, is that it is a real sexual orientation.

I don't mean to say that I want pedophilia to be treated with any honour such as homosexuality or bisexuality, just that is an orientation, albeit one that should never be acted upon.

Which subforum do you think it should be placed under? I'm not sure myself.
