masturbation and porn in a marriage?

WubaLuba September 25th, 2017

I'm interested in hearing opinions from anyone and everyone. Some say that watching porn is auful, others say it can be healthy. Some say anything in excess can be bad, but in moderation porn is ok. Perhaps some types of porn are worse than others? What about a man making videos with his wife, for their own personal viewing? Any other thoughts, opinions, or anything, please let me know what you think

If it's not hurting you or anyone else, then why should anyone care honestly. At least that's my opinion. Porn is just a tool to aid in arousal, and most people watch it for stress relief to that end. If you feel like you're addicted and you want to stop or it's effecting your life in a negative way that makes you unhappy then there's definitely ways to cope with it. As for the more oddly specific example you gave, it's the same thing. If you and your wife want to make videos and you're happy with that, go for it.

alright. porn is a video recording of people having sex. there are two cases to consider:

1) the woman wanted to be recorded on camera. in this case, the action on camera can sometimes be associated with prosttution. you are watching live prostitution, in my country, prostitution is 99% illegal. so you are watching a crime take place, on camera.

porn is a business. as long as you are watching it, it has been purchased or some monetary exchange took place. as long as monetary exchange is taking place, the sex took place for money, and so the sex is part of prostitution.

unlike war video games and such, where there is clear moral and story, porn doesn't have ny redeeming value to it. so the diplay of live crime is not acceptable or safe, i feel. that's one reason i stopped watching porn.

2) the woman did not want to be recorded on camera. in this case, you are watching a video of a woman having sex with someone who recorded the intercourse and then sold the record online. think carefully about this: what if you were that woman? how would you feel if someone, whom you trusted, was recording a naked video of your having sex with him (literally behind your back;) so then that same person uploaded that video so that everyone on earth can see you naked?

some people find no moral wrong in that case, but i do. so that's another reason why i stopped watching porn.
