How do y'all maintain relationships? It could be any type though. I struggle to maintain just a family bond, I can't even talk about my friendship or trying to do dates. It's tough, tell me the secret.

Hiya @fearlessTriangle8421 welcome to the community.

I'd sooo love if someone could actually share the "secret" to good relationships, but in all honesty, I feel there's no one-size-fits-all approach here because people are all super different with their unique personality, experiences, opinions, mindset and so are their relationship dynamics.

The usual bit though, that goes around and does seem to make sense in being helpful in maintaining better relationships with people- Effective communication, understanding and comprehension, listen to respond and not to react, be a good listener first, be open minded, vulnerable and accepting, express and be genuine, allow trust-building, quality time, be respectful and nurturing, better conflict management, etc and I can go on being all nitpicky and specific too hehe.

More that you'd like to add here?

Also, what makes it difficult for you to form a family bond or talk to friends, if you'd like to share more?💛

I don't know how to express myself. I feel I shouldn't talk c's I noticed the little words I say are always more than the words they say to me which hurts me. And I believe, since I don't like getting insulted or feeling hurt, I don't have the right to do it to anyone. And from my young age I've learnt to keep words to myself, or even showing my emotions. I still find it difficult to talk especially so much. That's why no one tends to understand me. When I do some things, people think I don't care or I'm heartless for doing that, but I don't find it bad when they do it to me. I've been trying to learn how to show my emotions, talk to people, and lots more.
