Narcissistic relationship
In a narcissistic relationship that I just can't seem to leave. Keep hoping things will change and it does for a few days then the same nasty behavior and words are spoken

It does not change ... we only change ourselves not our partners .....the few stretches of good are NOT enough to sustain a relationship. Can they change ... they only know. Until they do you can live in on the roller coaster hoping the good moments are enough.
@Brilynnsmom17 I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. My mom is in a very similar situation with my dad. He gets verbally abusive, especially after he drinks whiskey. We want him to change, but we can't make him change. Please don't allow his actions and behavior to harm you. You deserve peace 💛💛
I seem to be in the same situation. Found this app while I was googling help lol. I’ve found a few podcasts that I’m going to try out they go pretty in depth on how to make a relationship work with a narcissist. The podcast is navigating narcissism. Unfortunately as a man not many people talk about dealing with a female narcissist so I havent found much hope for improving the relationship.
