Breakup Help
Hi there,
Yesterday, I decided to breakup with my boyfriend. We’d been together for just over a year. He was my first love and my first relationship. He didn’t necessarily do anything *wrong.* The relationship just wasn’t working. We are long distance, and communication has come sparse. He never made the time on his own initiative to meet online or call or text - I was often the initiator. I was growing drained, constantly worrying about him and our relationship and finding my own life. It wasn’t going to work, and I’ve been speculating this for a few months now.
I feel awful. I didn’t realize how much of him was in my life, and now it’s gone. Anyone have advice for a girly trying to move on? Or for a girl dealing with the initial grief, regret, and confusion of a breakup? Thank you

Any breakup is hard and when we do not hear form a person we really miss it for awhile...
LDR and texts/ meets etc are very hard because we picture a future of when we might be in real life together ... i think it is a closer mental connection ....
the best thing to spur change and moving on is just what you said in your post realize you were initiating most communication and it was not progressing well....
Time is one of our greatest assets as we never know how long we have ... i ask myself how much time am i willing to waste on things that are no longer working for me.
