Am I jumping to conclusions?
hi! I would appreciate any help/advice on my current situation(ship)?
I recently started taking to a guy I met on a dating app. We’ve been taking consistently for about a week now. On Thursday he told me he was going on a trip to different state. Yesterday we only texted once and he left my message on seen/open. He mentioned he had a super busy day. I haven’t texted him today because I don’t want to feel like I’m bothering him especially if he’s busy. Should I wait until Monday to text him? Or should I send him a quick ‘hi, how’s your day been?’? Am I being paranoid in feeling like he’s avoiding talking to me and doesn’t want to talk to me anyone? We mostly communicate through ***. If I post something he’ll view it, but not message me until I message him first.

It is hard to say but i go thru this with a close friend that we chat everyday he is going on a trip ... i give him wide leeway send him a have a safe trip message at start and then give it a few days before sending a message again.
when you do send something towards end of week / or if you send one earlier ....say something like " hey do not want to bother you while busy on trip" ....
if they respond it is no bother you have an answer....and if no real response let it go until you feel he has returned.
