Too much to ask for?

HoneysuckleTea June 17th, 2016

Can I just have one person who is a true friend? A friend who is actually a friend and not an acquaintance that I speak to once a month or so. Is that too much to ask for? It just seems that everytime I want to hang out or talk to my so called friends they're busy with other friends, don't listen, or just ignore me. It hurts because it makes me feel like there's something wrong with me. I mean I like to think that I'm a well rounded or decent girl. I play sports, participate in my schools events and so what, and I've been told that I'm a pretty cool and funny person to be around. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting emotional again.

@HoneysuckleTea

It's not too much to ask for, dear. We all deserve a good friend, someone who would listen to our ramblings time to time, be there for us to support. While it's perfectly okay to want that for yourself, make sure you are not ignoring someone who might be wanting the same thing from you, expecting you to offer them a kind gesture. smiley
