I think many make vague plans when they know the relationship is ending... the problem with plans is that we cannot always anticipate the actions of our partners. so plans go badly IMO

I believe there is nothing wrong in knowing when a relationship comes to "you cannot go any further" point. But I believe that could be something inhuman in planning the exact breakup hour and date. I'd prefer it to be more spontaneous than calculated.
