I started dating my coworker (who is a few years younger than me) and I really like him. I’ve had a crazy past as far as my close relationships in life hurting me due to certain situations. It’s very hard for me to trust because of this, and I have gotten upset with him a few times now because at times I feel very insecure with him by the things he says(“jokes”). You should just remain friends. You said you have trust issues, you should not be dating anyone until you get control over your emotions. It’s not up to him to make you feel complete etc . You have to make yourself feel good and having him should be just a bonus. Your fear of him being immature etc will ruin it. Obviously he’s happy being that way as that’s his personality.
