Clingy boyfriend

My boyfriend is too clingy, and the problem is that I am not and that I may even be that person that's fine with much less. So he feels like he doesn't get enough, and I feel like it's too much. I know be won't change so my question is, can this work out like this? Does anyone have any similar experience? Any suggestions, advice or thoughts are welcome.

@ambitiousCoconut3397 I do relate strongly with you. Nonetheless, there are things unique to your situation as well. Communication and healthy, productive assertiveness on both your parts will help bring out both of your needs and show whether the clinginess is something that can be healed in time, or not.
